YV Room is short for Your Vibes Beauty Room: just me, a table and good light.
I care about the parts nobody photographs: a clean cuticle line, a shape that suits your fingers, polish that lasts past the first week. Designs start as a conversation. Bring a screenshot, a colour from your sweater, or nothing at all.
Because I work alone, you get my full attention for the whole appointment.

a few habits that keep a set looking fresh

Oil every day
A drop of cuticle oil at night keeps the skin around your nails soft and the polish edges neat.

Gloves on for chores
Hot water and cleaning products are the fastest way to dull gel and dry out cuticles.

Jewels, not tools
Skip using nails to open cans, peel stickers or scrape things off. Use the pad of your finger instead.

Never peel it off
Peeling gel takes layers of your natural nail with it. Book a proper removal; it only takes about 30 minutes.

Come back on time
As nails grow out, the balance shifts and lifting starts. Regular fills keep them strong and tidy.

How do I book?
The quickest way is the booking request form below: pick a service, a day and a time that suits you, and you'll get a confirmation or I'll contact you shortly. You can also message me on Telegram, call (587) 226-6992, or book through Square.
When are you open?
Monday to Friday, 12 to 7 pm. Weekends are closed.
How long does an appointment take?
Most manicures and pedicures take about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. New sets and fills can run a little longer depending on the design, and the SPA combo is about 3 hours. Every service on the menu lists its time.
I have gel or acrylic from somewhere else. Can you take it off?
Yes. Removal is added to your appointment: gel polish $21, gel $26.25, acrylic extensions $31.50, about 30 minutes each. Just mention it in your booking request or message.
Why do some prices say "varies"?
New gel sets and gel fills depend on your length, shape and design. Send me a photo of what you have in mind and I'll give you a price before you book.
What is a Japanese manicure?
A restorative treatment that revives and strengthens natural nails using beeswax, marine minerals and pearl powder. There's no polish and nothing artificial, just healthy, naturally shiny nails.
Do you only do nails?
Nails are the main thing, but I also do brow lamination and tint, lash lifts and tint, and sugaring and waxing. See the tabs in the menu.
